Fun and fellowship for moderately experienced and advanced beginners. You'll need some prior instruction and/or a knowledge of basic steps. Quick learners learn by observing and dancing. Minimal instruction includes new as well as old dances.

New and returning students alike will learn basic ballet terms and techniques, as well as the basic steps and positions put into combinations. Ballet is great exercise for the body, mind and soul, and it is fun, too! Classes will include barre exercise, center work and simple routines. Students will gain flexibility, develop grace, balance, posture and confidence. Please wear comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear and be ready to have fun!

Creative Cha Cha Dance Patterns for Couples

Learn various dance patterns, how to lead them (men) and how to correctly interpret those leads (women follow) non-verbally. Learn how to identify what dance to do to what music and dancing on-the-beat for both challenge and pleasure. Because of its nature, it is the only social activity that stimulates both physical and mental activity at the same time to tone both body and mind. Please, no footwear (like flip-flops) that can slide off easily. Also, in order to lessen fatigue as well as the likelihood of a foot or ankle stress fracture, footwear should be smooth (well worn) on the sole in the area of the ball of the foot. Students should be prepared to begin each class promptly at 11AM. Please note: students must pre-arrange a partner for this class in order to register and participate. Sign up for this dance class and have some fun of your own!
