Foxtrot Dance for Couples

11:00-12:00

Sept 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct 4

Instructor(s): Bill Busch

The foxtrot is a smooth gliding dance done to a type of music beat that was popularized in the 1950's through to today. This dance is one of only two popular dances done today that is considered to be originated in the USA. Today, a number of step patterns learned in American Waltz are also used in this dance utilizing the Silver Level Foxtrot timing. As a result, students for this intermediate level course should either have completed the recent American Waltz classes or have equivalent dance experience. Students should be prepared to begin each class promptly at 11AM. Please note: students must pre-arrange a partner (who is also a member) for this course in order to register and participate.
