Richmond Ballet Open Rehearsal
Wednesday, Nov 2

The Richmond Ballet Company has offered a special invitation to Lifelong Learning Institute Chesterfield members to attend an open rehearsal of George Balanchine's ballet, Liebeslieder Waltzer. Our open rehearsal date is Wednesday, Nov 2 and we have two rehearsals we can attend. The first begins at 11:45 and the second begins at 12:45. You can attend one or both. (We MUST be seated at least 15 minutes prior to each rehearsal time.) You may pre-order a box lunch for $15.00. The group will carpool to the Richmond Ballet Studio at 407 E. Canal Street. Contact the office today to register.

An elegant, evening-length ballet in two parts, the second Studio Theatre production of the 2011-12 season features George Balanchine's Liebeslieder Walzer. Richmond Ballet is honored to be one of the few U.S. companies performing the work, and the only company to present it in an intimate space like the Studio Theatre to be performed on Nov 10 - 19 at 6:30 with Matinees on Sunday, Nov 13 at 2:00 and Sunday Nov 20 at 4:00. A live vocal quartet and piano duet accompany the dancers on stage as they dance first as themselves and then as the true sentiment of their souls. Liebeslieder Walzer is truly a unique event you won't want to miss. Studio 2 is performed in Richmond Ballet’s Studio Theatre
